About Us: Kansas Health Teacher Web Site Education Coalition

The Kansas Health Teacher Web site originates out of the Health, Sport, and Exercise Sciences Department, in the School of Education, at the University of Kansas. The Web site is part of a longitudinal study to assess online teacher support, and health advocacy and policy. Content is supplied by Web site users and a state-wide coalition of teachers, professors, and other health educators. Kansas Health Teacher is for everyone who teaches health education. Contact Kansas Health Teacher at: akagi@ku.edu.

Students may elect to begin their education at a community college. Failure to check the course transfer websites of the universities/colleges you may transfer to may result in some courses not transfering.

GPA Many universities and colleges only admit students to their teacher licensure and health programs with a certain minimum GPA.

Transfer Courses If you plan to transfer to a 4-year degree program and you have an idea of what institution you may transfer too, before enrolling each semester, check the university website to see that your community college courses will transfer..
